Our Story

Hadiza Aliyu’s Foundation (HAF) was founded by Hadiza Aliyu Mohammed with a vision to create a more inclusive and equitable society for all Nigerians. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by women, children, and persons with disabilities, HAF was established to promote protection, inclusion, and empowerment across Nigeria.

Through strategic partnerships, community engagement, and evidence-based programs, we work tirelessly to break down barriers and create opportunities for those who have been marginalized. Our approach combines advocacy, direct service delivery, and capacity building to create sustainable change at both individual and systemic levels.

Empowering women, children, and persons with disabilities through leadership, advocacy, and entrepreneurship.

About Hadiza

Born on 13 January 1989 in Kano State, Nigeria, Hadiza Aliyu Muhammed is a public-sector compliance expert, humanitarian leader, Women and Children Rights Advocate, and Persons with Disability Advocate, and entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in public administration.

She has served as an Administrator at the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) since March 2013 till date, excelling in regulatory enforcement, audits, and stakeholder engagement. In December 2025, Hadiza founded Hadiza Aliyu’s Foundation (HAF), based in Abuja, Nigeria, where she serves as Chairperson.

HAF has delivered impactful programs in Abuja, including:

  • Advocacy and cash support for 100 persons with disabilities (PWDs) at Karimojiji Disability Colony (Nov 12, 2025)
  • Sexuality education outreach for 104 children with disabilities and 8 teachers at LEA Primary School, Karimojiji (Nov 20, 2025)
  • Maternal health outreach for 100 women, providing safe birth kits at Lugbe Primary Health Care (Dec 10, 2025)
  • Christmas food distribution to 150 families of PWDs at Karimojiji Disability Colony (Dec 20, 2025)

Hadiza has built a strong humanitarian partnership with the National Council of Women Societies (NCWS), promoting women’s empowerment and gender equality. She is an active member of the Nigeria Network of Non-Governmental Organizations (NNNGOs), a dedicated Rotarian, and collaborates closely with the Social Development Secretariat to advance community development and social inclusion.

Entrepreneurship
Hadiza founded HM Creations in 2019, a fashion brand for mothers and girls, which transitioned to HM Creations Limited in September 2025. She also launched HMC Fragrance in September 2023, a pure oil fragrance line, expanding her impact in the creative industry.
